This is a silicone gel, similar to products like Unseen Sunscreen from Supergoop. This is totally transparent and leaves a matte finish that definitely cuts down on shine but isn't drying on me. This did pill a little on me when I applied it, but it wasn't intense at all. The scent is powdery and sweet, but not strong. No eye stinging either. A really nice pick with some very minor flaws!
